MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide drug free, decent, safe, and sanitary housing for eligible families and
to provide opportunities promoting self-sufficiency and economic independence
to our residents.

The LCHA Board of Commissioners have amended their
By-laws to state that they will now hold their
regular board meetings on the LAST TUESDAY of each month.  
Effective Friday, August 8th the phones in the Carlisle office will not be answered.  
Fridays the office is closed to the public and that will include telephone calls.  You can
leave a voice mail for the person that you would like to speak to and they will get back to
you as soon as they can.  Please understand that it may be the following Monday.  (If you
have an emergency, please see the Emergency Page to know what to do.)

Effective October 15th - the Lonoke County Housing Authority will no longer be able to
accept cash.  You MUST make all payments to the housing authority by check, money
order, or cashiers check.  If you have not paid your October rent by October 15th you must
make your payment this way.    No cash - No exceptions.  

Effective November 1st - the fee the Lonoke County Housing Authority charges the
tenants for lawn care will be raised from $5.00 to $10.00 - excluding the elderly and
disabled households.
