"Emergency" Page
(for Public Housing tenants)
If you have a structural emergency (emergency regarding your apartment) you should call
(501) 297-1621. One of our maintenance men is "on call" 24 hours a day.  The ONLY things
considered a structural emergency are:

water flowing that YOU can not turn off
a potential gas leak
a fire in your apartment

~ If your toilet is stopped up and overflowing we recommend you try plunging the toilet first.  Then if that does not fix the problem and you have another toilet in your apartment, you can call
the office to report the toilet is overflowing and then use your other toilet until it can be fixed.  If
you have the shut off knob behind your toilet, please turn it off to prevent accidental flushing until
maintenance can get it fixed.  If you only have one toilet and plunging it does not fix the problem
call the office or the emergency line immediately.

~ If you think you smell gas - call the office to notify us if it's during working hours, otherwise, call
the Emergency line.  If no one answers OR returns your call, you can call the gas company.

~ If you have a fire inside your apartment call 911 or your local fire department FIRST, then call
the office if it is during normal working hours and the emergency line if it is after hours to report
the fire.
~ If someone is causing a disturbance, please call your local police department and request a
report on the disturbance.  Then notify the Public Housing Manager at the Carlisle office
(870-552-3554) of the incident and that you called the police and requested a police report.

~ If you notice any
illegal activity in or around your site/neighborhood, call your local police
department immediately to report the incident, then notify your Public Housing Manager at the
Carlisle office (870-552-3554)
